ADVENTUROUS SPITI VALLEY TOUR – 9 NIGHTS / 10 DAYS

Spiti Valley : Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalayas in the north-eastern part of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. ITINERARY

Day 1: Chandigarh to Narkanda (180 kms / 7-8 hrs)

  • Arrive at Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station and head towards Shimla. Take appropriate breaks on the way and enjoy the beauty as you leave the hustle and bustle of Shimla behind. View the lush green valleys and apple orchirds on both sides of the road. Stay in the midst of nowhere in Narkanda. 

Day 2: Narkanda to Sangla (160 kms / 7-8 hrs)

  • After breakfast with a view of the mountains and head to Sangla via Rampur. You shall meet the Sutlej river at Sainj and from there on it will be with you till Spiti. Sangla is one of the most beautiful valleys in India. We recommend a walk to Baspa river. 
  • Overnight stay at Hotel

Day 3: Sangla to Kalpa via Chitkul (100 kms / 4 hrs)

  • Morning after early Breakfast walk to Basteri village if you are up for it. Visit the ancient temple there and walk around the village. We take you Chitkul- last village on Indo-Tibet border. From Chitkul, we head to Kalpa. Here you will enjoy the stunning view of Kinner Kailash peaks over a cup of tea. 
  • Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 4: Kalpa to Tabo via Nako (170 kms / 9 hrs)

  • Early morning you can walk to the Old Shiva temple and Buddhist monastery in Kalpa, if time permits. After early breakfast and head to Tabo this day. The terrain will change after Pooh and you will see the end of the tree line. See the confluence of Spiti and Sutlej river at Khab. Lunch at a beautiful village called Nako. If time permits then we visit Gue to see the Mummy.

Day 5: Tabo to Pin Valley (120 kms / 4-5 hrs)

  • Breakfast
  • Visit Tabo Monastery: Known as the “Ajanta of Himalayas,” nearly 1000 years old.
    • Murals, thankas, and paintings believed to be made by Gods in a single night.
    • Optional hike to meditation caves.
  • Visit Dhankar Monastery: Ancient seat of the King, located on a cliff overlooking the confluence of Spiti and Pin River.
    • Optional hike to Dhankar Lake.
  • Head to the last village in Pin Valley.

Day 6: Pin Valley to Kaza (50kms / 2 hrs)

  • Wake up to the stunning landscape of Pin Valley National Park.
  • Enjoy a cup of tea and walk around.
  • Visit Khungri Monastery, the last hold of Buchen Lamas in Sangam.
  • Head to Key Monastery, the main learning center for Geluk sect Lamas, housing around 100 monks.
  • Key Monastery overlooks Spiti Valley and a huge river bed.
  • Climb further to visit Khibber Village, once the highest motorable village in the world.

Day 7: Kaza City Tour

  • After breakfast: Easy start to the day.
  • Langza: Main area for fossils.
  • Hikkim: Highest post office in the world.

  • Scenic drive: Snow-laden peaks visible.

Day 8: Kaza to Chandartal (120 kms / 4-5 hrs)

  • Early morning breakfast.
  • Drive to Chandra Tal via Lohsar village and Kunzum Pass.
  • Highlight: Scenic drive.
  • Tea break at Lohsar, the last village of Spiti valley.
  • Approach high mountains and snow-capped peaks from Kunzum Pass.
  • 20-minute hike to Chandra Tal lake from the barricade.

Day 9: Chandartal Lake to Manali (50 kms / 2 hrs)

Day 1: DELHI TO SHIMLA: (365 KM /10 HRS)

  • Arrive at Delhi Airport Terminal/ Railway Terminal & drive to Shimla a drive of around 10 hours reach to Shimla. Spend the day at leisure by exploring the Mall. 
  • Overnight stay at hotel

Day 2: SHIMLA – SARAHAN (165 kilometres in approximately 7 hours)

  • Drive from Shimla to Sarahan via Kufri, Theog, Fagu, Narkanda, Rampur.
  • Halt at Rampur for lunch.
  • Check-in to your hotel upon reaching Sarahan.
  • Sarahan is at 2165 meters above sea level with views of Srikhand Mahadev Peak.
  • Visit Bhimkali Temple, an 800-year-old example of Hill Architecture and one of the 51 Shaktipeeths.
  • Enjoy panoramic views of Shrikhand Peaks in the evening.
  • Attend the evening Aarti Ceremony at Bhimkali Temple.

Day 3: SARAHAN TO SANGLA (90 kilometres in approximately 5 hours)

  • Sarahan is 2744 metres above sea level. Participate in the morning aarti at Bhimkali Temple. After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart for Sangla via Karcham. Your journey from here will take you to another spectacular destination in the middle of the Himalayas which is also known as Baspa valley. It is, without doubt, the prettiest valley in Himachal.
    Arrive at Sangla and check in to the hotel. 
  • After a delicious dinner, enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel. 

Day 4: SANGLA- CHHITKUL- SANGLA (40 kilometres in approximately 3 hours)

  • After breakfast, explore the ancient Kamru Fort and Temple which is dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya Devi which was brought from Assam. After lunch, leave for an excursion to Chitkul, the last Village on an old Indo-Tibetan trade route. Walk through the green orchards and enjoy the serenity as a brilliant stream passes by. 
  • As the day ends, return to the hotel in Sangla for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 5: Sangla – Kalpa (49 kilometres in approximately 4 hours)

  • Check-out from your hotel after breakfast and drive to Kalpa.
  • Kalpa is at 2670 meters above sea level and is the district headquarters of Kinnaur.
  • Check-in to your hotel upon reaching Kalpa.
  • Kalpa, once known as Chini, has changed little in the last 500 years.
  • Legend of Lord Dalhousie:
  • 79-foot rock formation resembling a Shivlinga that changes color throughout the day.

  • Visit the Buddhist Gompa – Hu Bu Lan Kar in the evening.

Day 6: Kalpa Sightseeing

  • Early morning, enjoy the Sunrise over Kinner Kailash Peaks. Kalpa is famous for its apples & chilgoza plantations. The tree belongs to the Pine Family & the fruit is in about an inch long, in soft cover. After breakfast, visit the local School & Narayan Nagini Temple Complex, which has Shrines of Hindu, Buddhist and local Deities. After lunch, go for an excursion trip to Roghi Village to get closer to the ‘Pahari’ way of Life as you mingle with the locals.

Day 7: Kalpa to Narkanda (175 kilometres in approximately 6 hours)

Day 8: Narkanda to Delhi (380 kilometers in Approx 9 hour))

Narkanda is a town and a nagar panchayat in Shimla district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is at an altitude of 2708 meters on the Hindustan-Tibet Road in Himachal Pradesh, India within a fir forest. It is about 65 km away from Shimla and surrounded by the Himalayan Range. It is a skiing resort in winter. On arrival at Narkanda check in at the hotel.

Day 2: NARKANDA TO SANGLA (160KMS /7-8 HRS)

  • Meal:- Breakfast & Dinner
  • Today morning after breakfast checkout from the hotel & drive to Sangla. After breakfast with a view of the mountains and head to Sangla via Rampur. You shall meet the Sutlej river at Sainj and from there on it will be with you till Spiti. Sangla is one of the most beautiful valleys in India. We recommend a walk to Baspa river.After the initial dash over the hills, the road descends down to the Sutlej valley as we continue to the town of Rampur on the southern bank. The roads are carved on vertical rock faces at several locations giving itself a distinct identity. This road is popularly known as Indo-Tibet Highway. You will be welcomed by several hydroelectric power projects as you enter Kinnaur district, the major one at Karcham where a dam is built at the confluence of Baspa and Sutlej rivers. From Karcham we cross over the bridge and enter Baspa Valley to head towards Sangla.On arrival at sangla check in the hotel.

Day 3: SANGLA LOCAL SIGHTSEEING TO NAKO-TABO (177KMS/5-6HRS)

  • Meal:- Breakfast & Dinner
  • This morning after breakfast we will be driving you to Chitkul ( 20 kms, total 1 hrs, each side 3,450 metres / 11,318 feet.) which is the last village on Indian side on the Indo Tibetan border. The village of Chitkul is like something from a fairy tale, and you will have a chance to walk slowly around it. The landscapes are stunning, and you will have plenty of time to enjoy them and talk to the local people. We will return to Sangla for lunch in the local restaurants and later the rest of the day is free to relax in the mountain landscape or if you like you can walk to another nearby villages or nature walk.After that leave for tabo.On arrival at tabo check in the hotel.

Day 4: TABO-DHANKAR-DHANKAR LAKE- PIN VALLEY-KAZA

Dhangkar monastery, which was once the capital of Spiti, under Kings rule. Dhang means cliff and kar means fort, the fort situated on the edge of a cliff. Dhangkar Gompa or monastery is one of the architectural master pieces of the Buddhist yore. Built 800 years ago this is one of the endangered archaeological sites in the world. Experience the old world feeling of the Dhangkar monastery.After that leave for pin valley Pin Valley National Park is a National park of India located within the Lahaul and Spiti district, in the state of Himachal Pradesh, in far Northern India.After that leave for kaza The town lies on the road between Rekong Peo and Kaza, the sub-divisional headquarters of Spiti. Day 5: KAZA LANGZA-HIKKIM-KOMIK-KI MONASTERY -KAZA

  • On the day of this Spiti Valley tour, we drive to some of the highest inhabited regions of the world. The highest village in Asia, Komik, which literally translates to eye of a snow cock, is situated at a height of 4513 meters. This farming village has a population of 84 people, living in utter isolation, cut-off from the rest of the world for most parts of the year. Later, we drive to Hikkim where we visit the world highest post office in the world. If possible, you might even meet the post-master and hear his stories. After sending out a postcard, we drive to Langza. Langza village is situated at an altitude of 4400 meters and belongs to the Sakyapa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Langza houses a population of 137 in 33 households. Once you are here, you can walk around the village and visit the ancient Lang (Temple) which is estimated to be around 1000 years old. At Langza This centuries old gompa is a labyrinth of rooms and corridors and at one time also acted as a fort. It houses valuable thangkas and offers a panoramic view of the area. Day 6: DRIVE FROM KAZA KI MONASTAEY-CHICHAM-LOSAR-KUNZUM LA-CHANDRATAL LAKE

  • On the day of this Spiti Valley tour, we drive to one of the most photogenic places in Spiti Valley the Chandratal Lake. Before that, we pass through the high altitude pass of Kunzum La. Stop by at the stupa and pay tribute to the local goddess,Kuzum Mata as she’s known. At 15,000 feet above sea-level, the Kuzum Pass connects Kullu and Lahaul to the Spiti Valley. From there, we head to Chandratal Lake A visual marvel, this stunning blue-coloured lake is set at an altitude of 4,300 meters above sea level in the heart of high Himalayas and is a must see on a full moon night. It derives its name, Chandra (Moon) and (Lake) from the crescent shape of the lake. Watch the lake change colours from crystal clear shades of blue to emerald greens by dusk.

Day 7: DRIVE FROM CHANDRATAL LAKE-CHATTRU-ROHTANG PASS-MANALI

ITINERARY

Day 1: Chandigarh to Narkanda (180 kms / 7-8 hrs)

  • Arrive at Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station and head towards Shimla. Take appropriate breaks on the way and enjoy the beauty as you leave the hustle and bustle of Shimla behind. View the lush green valleys and apple orchirds on both sides of the road. Stay in the midst of nowhere in Narkanda. 

Day 2: Narkanda to Sangla (160 kms /7-8 hrs)

  • After breakfast with a view of the mountains and head to Sangla via Rampur. You shall meet the Sutlej river at Sainj and from there on it will be with you till Spiti. Sangla is one of the most beautiful valleys in India. We recommend a walk to Baspa river.  
  • Overnight stay at hotel in Sangla.

Day 3: Sangla to Kalpa via Chitkul (100 kms /4 hrs)

  • Morning after early breakfast walk to Basteri village if you are up for it. Visit the ancient temple there and walk around the village. We take you Chitkul- last village on Indo-Tibet border. From Chitkul, we head to Kalpa. Here you will enjoy the stunning view of Kinner Kailash peaks over a cup of tea.

Day 4: Kalpa to Tabo via Nako (170 kms /9 hrs)

  • Early morning you can walk to the Old Shiva temple and Buddhist monastery in Kalpa, if time permits. After early breakfast and head to Tabo this day. The terrain will change after Pooh and you will see the end of the tree line. See the confluence of Spiti and Sutlej river at Khab. Lunch at a beautiful village called Nako. If time permits then we visit Gue to see the Mummy.

Day 5: Tabo to Kaza (112 kms /2-3 hrs)

  • After breakfast and visit the “Ajanta of Himalayas”- The Tabo Monastery which is close to 1000 years old now. The murals, thankas and paintings are believed to have been made in a single night by the Gods themselves. You can also hike to the meditation caves, if time permits. Visit Dhankar Monastery- Seat of the King in ancient times- the most beautiful setting of a monument which hangs on a cliff and overlooks the confluence of Spiti and Pin River. Hike to Dhankar lake, if your lungs permit. We shall head to the last village in Pin Valley.

Day 6: Kaza City Tour

  • After breakfast easy and today we head to Langza- the main area for Fossils, Hikkim- the highest post office in the world and Komic- one of the highest villages in the world at 4600 meters. A visit to the Tangyud monastery in Komic is also worthwhile. You can see some snow laden peaks during this drive. To make this memorable, you can also hike from Langza to Komic- 3-4 hours. Visit the postmaster of the highest post office in the world at Hikkim and mail some postcards from here. Drive back to Kaza.

Day 7: Kaza to Chandartal (120 kms /4-5 hrs)

  • After breakfast, we drive to Chandra Tal- The lake of the moon via Lohsar village and Kunzum Pass. The drive on this day will be one of the highlights of the trip. Have a cup of tea at the last village of Spiti valley- Lohsar. After this you will just get closer to the high mountains and all you will see is snow capped peaks from Kunzum Pass and beyond. The hike to Chandra Tal lake is 20 mins from the barricade. The lake is a mesmerizing sight that will leave you speechless for sure. We don’t have words to describe it. Spend the night at camp close to the lake.

Day 8: Chandartal lake to Manali (50 kms /2 hrs)

  • After Breakfast, some call it adventurous and some call the drive of their life- this is the last day of your trip before you head back to civilization in Manali. The road between Chandra Tal and Manali is the toughest, roughest, most scenic and we guarantee you will skip a few breathes this day. The non-existence of roads, a few water falls, dry and dusty make this terrain difficult. On the other hand, snow capped mountains, Chandra river flowing to meet Bhaga and the vast landscape make your drive memorable. Spend some time at Rohtang if time permits.

Day 1: Chandigarh / Delhi to Shimla (7200 feet / 3-4 / 8-10 hrs)

  • We start our Spiti Valley tour from the wide and urban roads of Delhi Chandigarh and drive through the lush green countryside of the state of Punjab. Shimla is most favourite and visited hill station of India. Shimla, with its colourful bazaars and cool mountain air, is situated in the lower range of the Himalayas and is nestled at 7200 feet.We reach Shimla by late afternoon / evening and spend the night at a comfortable hotel / resort. 

Day 2: Shimla Sightseeing

  • Today, after a sumptuous breakfast, you could choose to go a relaxed sightseeing tour covering the religious and cultural centres of Shimla including the Christ Church and Hindu temples such as Kalbadevi Temple, Jakhu Temple and the Hanuman Temple. Later in the afternoon, you can choose to go on an excursion to Kufri, popularly known as the snow-point of Shimla and famous for its panoramic views.We return to Shimla for the evening and spend the night at a comfortable hotel.

Day 3: Shimla to Sarahan (7589 feet / 160 Kms / 4-6 hrs)

  • Today, we start driving early, towards Sarahan – the former summer capital of the Bushahr kingdom. Sarahan is extremely famous for the Bhima Kali temples and according to several sources, it was an important 18th century religious centre where human sacrifices were carried out to appease the Gods. Just behind the Bhim Kali temples lies the flamboyant early 19th century Shanti Kung Palace – built by the last Maharaja of Bushahr – definitely worth a visit.

Day 4: Sarahan to Sangla (8900 feet / 90 Kms / 3-4 hrs)

  • Today, we drive higher, into Sangla Valley, into the district of Kinnaur.The Batseri Village here is a must visit. An old-fashioned bridge built over the Baspa River leads you to Batseri and its cobble-stoned streets and the local temple of Badri Narayan. Art lovers have much to appreciate in the architecture. After this, visit the Kamru Fort – This five-storied tower type fort rests on 55 square feet of stone platform and was built by Dev Puran. The delicately intricate carvings of the wooden verandas and miniature temple are a sight to behold. We spend the night at a comfortable hotel / guest house in Sangla.

Day 5: Sangla to Chitkul to Sangla (11,320 feet / 22 Kms / 1-2 hrs)

  • Chitkul is the last Indian village at the frontier and has a population of roughly 700 people. The extensive Nila range where the greenish-blue Baspa River originates, corates India on one side and Tibet on the other. At a height of 3450m, Chitkul is picture-perfect The temples of the local Goddess, ‘Mathi’ are well-worth visiting as well; some of them are as old as 500 years.We return to Sangla for the night and spend the night at a comfortable hotelguest house.

Day 6: Sangla to Kalpa (9711 feet / 40 Kms / 2 hrs)

  • Today, we drive to Reckong Peo – the district capital of Kinnaur. If you require a permit to enter Spiti Valley, this is where we get it. Once we are done with the formalities, we head up higher on a seven kilometre winding road, to the quaint village of Kalpa – a gem of a little destination with enthrallingly majestic views of the Kinner Kailash and Jorkandan Peaks looming right above the village.While here, visit the striking Kinnauri-style temples or the colourful Samdrup Choeling Gompa. By the side of the Kinner Kailash is the 79 foot high single rock which resembles the Shivalinga, and is known for its colour-changing properties as the day wears on. We spend the night at comfortable hotel in Kalpa.

Day 7: Kalpa to Nako (12,000 feet / 100 kms / 5-6 hrs)

  • After a delicious breakfast, we continue driving on the Hindustan – Tibet Highway. On this stretch of the road, the colour of the landscape changes from an emerald lush green to a desolate brown as we drive on the what some call, ‘the world’s most treacherous and beautiful roads.’Your experienced driver will navigate these roads with great care and skill as you begin to embrace the jaw-dropping landscape. We pass through Puh – where we stop at the last fuel station on this stretch of the road. A refill later, we proceed to Nako – the last hamlet of Kinnaur, before we enter the gates of Spiti Valley. Overnight at a basic guest house in Nako. .

Day 8: Nako Sightseeing

  • Today, explore the nearby Nako monastery or find yourself at peace, just watching the reflections of the clouds taking a walk on the exquisitely beautiful oval shaped lake, protected by all sides by the mighty high Himalayas.You could also choose to take a short trek up higher into the remote untouched mountains if you want to hear the sound of the Mountains and the witness the spectacle of solace. Overnight at Nako in a basic guest house.

Day 9: Nako to Gue to Tabo (10,000 feet / 66 Kms / 3 hrs)

  • After breakfast, we cross into Spiti Valley through a traditional arch that  welcomes us to Sumdoh. We continue driving into the rugged and arid terrain and takea pit stop to explore Gue.Gue is famous for a monastery that houses a 500 year naturally mummified monk. If legend is to be believed, the lama named Sangha Tenzin mummified himself to free his village from the plague of scorpions.We continue our journey and head to Tabo – also known as the ‘Ajanta of the Himalayas’. Tabo houses the 1010 year-old Tabo Monastery – which is a UNESCO world heritage site and is famous for its ancient paintings that depict the life of The Buddha, and intricate portraits of gods and demons along with life-size statues of bodhisattvas in a fusion of western Tibetan, Indian and Kashmiri styles.

Day 10: Tabo to Demul (4400 meters)

  • Today, we take a short drive to Demul – another beautiful high altitude Spiti Valley village. At 4400 meters, Demul is a village which redefines remoteness. Devoid of any cell-phone or internet reception, this quiet and quaint village is home to less than 50 families. You are free to explore the postcard-like scenery of the village on your own, or you could opt for a short yak safari. If the season is right, you could harvest Yher leaves that are used to make momo fillings. Learn how to expertlymake momos and have a delicious self-made momo dinner. Overnight stay at a homestay in Demul.

Day 11: Demul to Dhankar (32 Kms / 1-2 hrs)

  • We take the road towards Kaza and take a detour. Perched high above the confluence of the Spiti and Pin River, in a hidden bowl, is the tiny hamlet of Dhankar.The former capital of the Royals of Spiti Valley, also known as the Nono, who ruled the dust-coloured badlands of Spiti Valley, go back in time as you explore the 1200-year-old Dhankar Gompa which perches precariously between eroded rocky pinnacles on the edge of a cliff.If time permits, do take an hour’s climb above the village to visit the stunning turquoise Dhankar Tso or Dhankar Lake which offers views over the valley and towards the twin peaks of Mane Rang (6593 meters).

Day 12: Dhankar to Pin Valley (44 Kms / 2-3 hrs)

  • Today we start our drive into Pin Valley. About 2 kilometres above Gulling, at Kungri, we  visit the 600-year-old Ugyen Sangnak Choling Gompa which has a huge monastery building that houses about 60 resident Lamas. Declared a national park in 1987, Pin Valley is home to the endangered snow leopard. In addition, other animals indigenous to the  region and park are the Siberian ibex, bharal, weasel, red fox and marten. Birds such as the pika, griffon, golden eagle, bearded vulture, chukor and raven paint the skies a pretty picture. From Kungri, we head southwest, to the charming village of Mudh where we spend the night in a basic guest house run by a warm hospitable family.

Day 13: Mudh to Kaza (56 Kms / 2-3 hrs)

  • Overlooked by rugged and jagged mountains on both sides, today we drive to the district capital of  Spiti Valley – Kaza. Home to colourful festivals and the ancient Sakya Tangyud Monastery, Kaza is the ideal base camp for all Spiti Valley treks.Cell phones and internet work well here and it’s a good time to catch up with the family and friends back home and let  them know about your fantastic experiences so far.

Day 14: Kaza to Key Monastery to Kibber (20 Kms / 1-2 hrs)

  • Today, we first drive up the world-famous Key Monastery. With over 1000 years’ worth stories to tell, the Key Monastery is situated at a height of 13,668 feet.It was founded by a disciple of the famous Atisha, in the 11th century CE. This monastery is famous as a prominent centre of learning as well as refuge for Tibetans.  After spending a couple of hours at the monastery, we drive to the village of Kibber. Perched at a height of 4205m, this formerly highest permanently inhabited village of this region, is also a popular base camp to embark on adventure and treks to adjoining  mountains of high altitude. Houses constructed in the Tibetan architectural style are predominant and the fertility of the rich lands makes agriculture the primary source of livelihood.

Day 15: Kibber to Kaza to Komik (50 Kms / 2-3 hrs)

  • From Kaza, we drive to the highest village in Asia – Komik.Komik, which literally translates to ‘eye of a snow cock’, is situated at a height of 4513m. This farming village has a population of 84 people, living in utter isolation, cut-off from the rest of the world for most parts of the year.Komik Lundup Chhemo is one of the highest monasteries in the world, set in a very picturesque background. Their famous annual festival, attended mostly by Spitians and a bare handful oftravellers, is an event to certainly take part in.

Day 16: Komik to Langza (14,435 feet / 13 Kms)

  • From one high village, we travel to another. This time, Langza.Langza village is situated at an altitude of 4400 meters and belongs to the Sakyapa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Langza houses a population of 137 in 33 households.Once you are here, you can walk about the village and visit the ancient Lang (Temple) which is estimated to be around 1000 years old. At Langza, trek back to the prehistoric era when Spiti was submerged by the Tethys Sea, as you explore a land very rich with fossils of Marine animals and plants which were here millions of years ago.

Day 17: Langza to Kaza

  • Today we return to our base in Kaza to rest at the comfortable Spiti Sarai Hotel in Rangrik. You are free to take a walk around the village of Rangrik or you can spend time in the garden / balcony and soak in the view.

Day 18: Kaza to Kunzum La to Chandratal Lake (14,100 feet / 102 Kms)

  • Today, we commence our journey back home. However, we take one last stop at another Spitian wonder – Chandratal Lake.The mystical and beautiful Chandratal Lake, which translates to Moon Lake, is located at a height of 14,100 feet. The Chandra Bhaga mountain range forms a striking backdrop for the lake, which changes appearance according to the pictures painted in the sky. Overnight stay at a camp near Chandratal Lake.

Day 19: Chandratal Lake to Manali (130 Kms)

  • We wake up to a delicious breakfast. If time permits, we can visit the lake one more time before we bid goodbye to Spiti Valley.We continue driving on the Kaza Manali road and after a few hours of driving and some more stunning  landscape, we pass through the famous Rohtang Pass and reach Manali where we check into a comfortable hotel and end our Spiti Valley tour.
